Manager, Procurement System

The Manager is responsible for driving the implementation of automated procurement and supplier management systems for the general procurement categories that do not involve any activities or contracts in regard to project development for Kerry Properties under the General Procurement function of Qianhai’s WOFE for providing supporting services across the Group. Being part of the corporate team for General Procurement, you will report to the Senior Manager, Procurement, and closely work with key stakeholders of various departments in Group and Mainland China, external suppliers and contractors.

Apart from the above, the Manager is also responsible for organize procurement related trainings and perform spend analysis across the Group.  We’re looking for a motivated and proactive candidate who has rich experiences in best procurement practices, supplier and category management, data analysis and system administration with property or real estate industry knowledge.

Responsibilities
Qianhai Office
• To develop and implement procurement and supplier management systems to maintain process integrity by adopting best industry practices in compliance with the Group general procurement policy and procedures;
• To manage procurement systems and process enhancement projects, including process re-engineering, process automation, purchase data warehouse, trouble shooting and daily support to system users.
• To establish standard workflows, reports and related template documents for improving effectiveness and efficiency of procurement operations;
• To collect comments and/or recommendations from respective function heads/department heads to update standard operating procedures and detailed guidelines as needed;
• To consolidate regional procurement reports, maintain supplier performance records and carry out spend analysis to ensure that the relevant policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to;
• To support initiatives for streamlining procurement process and implementing internal control measures for continuous improvement;
• To conduct procurement related trainings to all departments and cultivate their proper understanding and alignment on the relevant policies and procedures;
• To support and follow-up actions if required for the Group Procurement Committee when available; and
• To perform any duties from time to time as appropriately assigned by the management.

Requirements
• University Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or Logistics or equivalent
• Procurement background with good corporate and process governance knowledge
• Over 5 years of management experience for procurement functions in property or real estate industry with experiences in ERP, supplier management, process standardization and implementing procurement related systems, etc
• Experiences in data analysis using Excel VBA, Tableau and Oracle JDE are preferably
• Self-motivated, excellent communication, influencing and conflicts solving skills
• Problem solver and proactively seeks solutions and alternatives
• Enabler for system design, implementation, roll-out and data analysis
• Good command of written and communication skills in English and Mandarin
