Job Highlights:
The Project Coordinator, Interior Design will report directly to the Deputy Project Director, he/she will use own expertise in interior design discipline to identify and solve problems subject to departmental policies, procedures and practices. The incumbent will also coordinate and execute interior design activities according to the approved design and work with various Departments, suppliers, consultants and contractors to ensure the project schedule and quality are in good order.
Responsibilities:
- Assists supervisor in reviewing the interior designs submitted by consultants
- Prepares and alters the drawings and sketches using interior design applications and manual
- Liaise with the appointed consultants and contractors during all stages of projects
- Coordinates with suppliers and consultants in relations to all interior design matters
- Assists supervisor in monitoring site progress to meet the required standards; flag up to supervisor when there is any issue
- Liaise closely with various Departments, suppliers, consultants and contractors throughout the project
- Willing to travel for materials and factory fabrication inspections when required
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Architecture, Interior Design or related disciplines
- Minimum 6 years of relevant project design experience for residential developments in Hong Kong either gained from sizable consultant firm or property developer
- Sound knowledge and skills of interior design for residential projects
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), experience in the use of 3D rendering, Photoshop and AutoCAD are highly preferred
- Good understanding of market environment, competitors and interior design trends
- A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with MS Office and interior design applications
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
