Deputy Manager, Sustainability

Responsibilities:

  • Implement ESG engagement initiatives aligned with the Company’s strategic priorities
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop ESG engagement initiatives
  • Handle the qualitative side of data disclosure on social aspect
  • Enhance communication channels through conducting research, and providing advice and training to business units to enhance the awareness
  • Share best practices in engagement approaches throughout the Company, improve understanding of sustainability challenges and identify material risks and opportunities
  • Support the team in sustainability reporting, enhancing ratings performance and award submissions
  • Develop and design communication content for ESG engagement initiatives
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Science, Communications or other related disciplines
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in corporate sustainability, corporate social responsibility, preferably in sizable companies with a strong background in sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement and event management
  • Good team player with excellent leadership, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong business acumen, strategic planning and execution skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
  • Fluent in Mandarin is essential
