Officer, Sustainability

Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring the Group's sustainability and decarbonisation strategies, including progress tracking against SBTi-validated targets and the carbon neutrality roadmap
- Coordinate the collection, validation, and analysis of environmental data (Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions) across the Group's portfolio
- Support the preparation of the annual Sustainability Report, ESG ratings submissions (GRESB, MSCI, CDP, S&P CSA, Sustainalytics), and regulatory disclosures (HKEX ESG Code, IFRS S2)
- Drive internal and external stakeholder engagement, including supplier and tenant programmes (e.g., Supplier Low Carbon Stewardship Scheme, Dark Green Leasing Programme)
- Support climate resilience and carbon capacity building initiatives, including training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns
- Collaborate closely with Property Management, Engineering, and Development teams across Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland to drive on-the-ground implementation of ESG initiatives
- Stay abreast of emerging ESG trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices (e.g., green electricity, carbon credits, nature-based solutions)
- Assist in the preparation of board papers, management presentations, and internal updates on ESG performance and strategic priorities
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Sustainability Management, Environmental Science, Building Engineering, Energy Management, or related disciplines
- At least 3–5 years' relevant experience in sustainability, green building, carbon auditing, or ESG reporting, preferably in sizeable property development, asset management, or real estate companies
- Demonstrated experience in carbon data management, Scope 3 accounting, and familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, IFRS S2, HKEX ESG Code)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms)
- Good team player with excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
