Senior Manager, Group Financial Planning

Job Highlights:

Lead the monthly financial reporting and budgeting process for the Group. Drive process improvements, ensure data integrity, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Take ownership of specific reporting tasks and coach junior team members to ensure quality and consistency.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Group’s monthly management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
  • Review and enhance reporting templates and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with business units and functional teams to consolidate and analyze financial performance.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to FP&A team members.
  • Present financial insights and variance analysis to Financial Controller of Group Financial Planning and Group CFO.
  • Lead system enhancement initiatives related to reporting tools and platforms, including data analytical tools.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Economics or relevant disciplines;
  • 8+ years of relevant working experience in sizable MNC or listed company, preferably with Big 4 experience;
  • Qualified accountant;
  • Solid experience in management accounts, financial planning and analysis with strong commercial acumen with ability to interpret and draw insights from large data sets ideally with previous experience using Oracle EPM (including EPBCS and FCCS), Excel VBA, Tableau, Power BI, or Oracle Smart View;
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficient in Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation;
  • Strong track record in providing analysis to enable initiatives and support the organization's operational, financial, and strategic decisions;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with growth mindset; eager to drive change and continuous process improvements;
  • Be flexible, hands-on, able to work under pressure and detail-oriented; a good team player and willing to share knowledge and learn from others; and
  • Excellent communication skills, good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
